Youth Education

We celebrate children in our worship. We want children to learn that they’re welcome in the church and part of the church family. But sometimes little bodies need a little extra space to roam. That’s why we have a newly renovated nursery. This is a great place to find solace while still allowing the caregiver to listen to the worship service broadcasted through the nursery’s built-in speakers.

Our Christian Education program is designed for children between the ages of 5-12. During the school year we meet on Sundays during worship service in the Nursery on the first floor, just steps away from the sanctuary.

Adult Education: Book Studies

We offer book studies on Sundays after worship for our inquisitive adult audience. We begin our new book, Searching for Sunday, by Rachel Held Evans on October 2, 2022 at 11 a.m.

Our November book is Tired of Apologizing for a Church I Don’t belong To: Spirituality without Stereotypes, Religion without Ranting by Dr. Lillian Daniel, the new Michigan UCC Conference Minister
